GYMPIE COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB CONCERT

WHEN:
Sunday 8th August

Starting at 1:00pm

WHERE: Wesley Hall on Channon Street in Gympie

ADMISSION: $6.00 per person and children under 15 free
Tickets available at the door.

There will be lucky door prizes, raffles and free provided supper at interval.

Come along to a great afternoon of good old traditional country music
sung by many talented local club members.

HARMONY MONTESSORI CHILDREN’S HOUSE FETE

“From Little things Big things Grow”

WHEN: 14th August from 9:00am to 2:00pm

There is great fun for the entire family at our community fete. Children’s activities include dancing, storytelling, music and workshops, live stage and music performances, marketplace featuring beautiful creations from local artisan and fresh food.

Admission is free, children’s workshops will be a $2-$3 donation per workshop; most workshops are ½ hour in duration. Funds will be used to purchase equipment and supplies to further Harmony Montessori’s goal providing high quality education and care to children in the Caboolture Community. 


VIETNAM VETERANS DAY PARADE

WHEN:
Wednesday 18th August  

WHERE: Memorial Avenue, Noosa

The Parade commences at 4:00pm at the Tewantin-Noosa RSL, with
form up at 3:45pm, the service concludes at 4:30pm.

A function will be held at the Tewantin-Noosa RSL after the parade.

Do you want to know more about living longer and healthier:  Have you ever wondered how to do something about it – and in the process change your lifestyle for the better?

Heart, stroke and blood vessel disease is the major public health problem in Australia, causing more then 34% of all deaths annually.  The Heart Foundation has a network of local Volunteer Speakers available to visit your club, community group or organisation to speak about general heart health focusing on the benefits of lifestyle change and practical information on how to go about it.
